HC: BAND SPOTLIGHT PERSPECTIVE 

BIO:

“Here in Denver we are on an island. It takes 8 hours to get to a town where you can play a show. In the winter months those 8 hours turn into even longer drives to get to the next state. But within those drives, Denver has a thriving scene of awesome bands, great all ages DIY venues, dedicated promoters and a supportive group of kids that make being in a band worth every second. Perspective was started by a group of friends that all shared the same love for fast hardcore and the Straight Edge. I wanted to start a band also, that carried a message. Ive always felt hardcore and punk were styles of music that not only allowed for aggression to be released but were also a place to allow kids to display their feelings whether personal, political and/or social and feel like they were actually being listened to, unlike in a society where they have no voice. Perspective is the preservation of that spirit. Whether we never tour or get big or whatever, we are here to leave our own legacy and give back to a scene that has given us so much. There’s not much more about us that needs to be said. We are a group of older guys who love hardcore, the straight edge and refuse to let age, the norm and negativity dictate how we live our lives.” - ALVINO (VOCALS)
